Pleasantly surprised how effective this film works. We’re going through a mini heat wave where I live and I don’t see any damage to our artificial grass, which tells me there are no UV rays bouncing from the windows any longer. Another, pleasant surprise was how easy the installation was. Took me no more than 20 mins to install the film on the three separate windows, and that was me taking my time. Probably could have done all three windows in less than 10 mins. Definitely worth the money I spent.

Based on the reviews abd watching the how to install YouTube video, I bought the clear window screen film with the sticky backing for outdoor use, partly due to the price. This was expensive for me but thought it was worth it to protect my newly installed turf from the desert extreme heat. It was a little tricky at first but the how to video really helped alot. I installed the film and the windows look great. I am happy with it and would recommend.

Great product, easy Installation! Works exactly as advertised
Customer service was wonderful as they helped me track down the package that Federal Express shipped all over the United States.
When the film finally arrived we were excited to get it on the window. My husband watched several videos on how to install the film, but didnt heed the warning about installing it in high temperatures. Yikes! It was not a good fit for just one person trying to install a product like this for the first time. The high temperatures in Las Vegas in August didnt help either. We should have hired a professional installer from the beginning.
That being said about our experience trying to do this ourselves, if you know how to install window films then you probably will not run into the issues my husband had with this product. Also, it is wise to read and abide by the temperture warnings and wait until weather is cool enough to properly install the film.
I installed the film on my skylight and it didn't stop the sun's reflection on the vinyl siding.

Thank you for your note and for confirming you’ve installed the White Exterior Film we sent at no cost. Just to be clear for anyone reading: the visible “sun reflection” you see is not what damages siding. The real culprit is concentrated infrared (IR) heat, which can push temperatures well above 200°F. Our films are designed to scatter and diffuse that heat so it doesn’t concentrate into a damaging hot spot.
When you recorded 157°F with the Clear Screen film, that wasn’t failure — it actually showed the product was working, since untreated hot spots can exceed 240°F. A reflection can remain visible, but brightness isn’t the same as heat risk.
Even after your two-star review, we still provided you with a full replacement roll — free of charge — so you could do your own side-by-side comparison. That’s not liability, that’s service. Most companies wouldn’t go that far after being scored low, but we believe in standing behind both our science and our customers.
We’ll look forward to your updated thoughts next summer once you’ve had a full season to compare. Until then, it’s important others understand: the issue isn’t reflection, it’s IR concentration — and our films are engineered to solve exactly that.

Love the product, was easy to in stall as a DIY project. It has clearly reduced the reflection from the window on to my vinyl siding.
Could not of be happier had a problem with the delivery address on my end they called and solved it promptly. A real pleasure to work with.
First batch was great, second time we ordered it (few weeks later) it was different. The second batch didnt have cut lines in the back and seemed way more stretchy, which creases and doesnt lay down as well.

However, if installed in direct sunlight or higher temperatures, the film can feel more pliable and stretchy — this is by design. The film is engineered to expand and contract at the same rate as glass and framing materials, which is essential for long-term performance in outdoor environments.

I looks good, you really have to be careful or you get wrinkles in it that do not come out, but from a distance it looks like a reflection.
I had artificial turf installed last month, but the weather has been cool and overcast, so I didn't hurry to apply the film. Now that we are in a sunny heat wave (100s already!), I figured I'd better get it done before summer arrives. I applied the black product to my windows today before it got too warm (low 80s) and before the sun was shining in that area. Overall, the film is pretty easy to apply, but I wish I had applied it in sections on my big window. (Undoubtedly, it would have been easier in sections since I was applying it alone and up on a ladder.) No matter what I did, I got a few wrinkles in the film. With that said, they are not at all visible from inside the house, so I am okay with it. Now I'll see how it holds up with full-west afternoon sun!

Window was 55x32. I followed directions for a dry installation but could not figure how to eliminate wrinkles. I tried to lift up the film to remove some of the wrinkles and the film ripped. I probably should have gone with the wet installation.
We just had new vinyl siding installed and needed to protect an area where the reflection from a window melted the previous siding. This was very easy to install and very minimal look so you barely notice it on the glass. It’s been 30 days and so far working as promised. We will see as the seasons change if it will hold up.
