I had artificial turf installed last month, but the weather has been cool and overcast, so I didn't hurry to apply the film. Now that we are in a sunny heat wave (100s already!), I figured I'd better get it done before summer arrives. I applied the black product to my windows today before it got too warm (low 80s) and before the sun was shining in that area. Overall, the film is pretty easy to apply, but I wish I had applied it in sections on my big window. (Undoubtedly, it would have been easier in sections since I was applying it alone and up on a ladder.) No matter what I did, I got a few wrinkles in the film. With that said, they are not at all visible from inside the house, so I am okay with it. Now I'll see how it holds up with full-west afternoon sun!
Tough but take your take and it’ll look good
Great product. Looks nice and installs very easy. I would recommend this to other people without a doubt.
Long story short I had an issue with our windows reflecting onto our siding and warping and melting it. This product is advertised to help stop that. I had a professional installer watch the video on how to install this product and it was installed on our windows in the affected area. 25 foot roll costing 1200 dollars. The next day the window cracked and in a panic I called customer service to hurry and find an answer as to why my window just cracked. Their response was that if it wasn’t professionally inspected then it’s the windows fault. That’s hard to believe. These windows are two years old and I’ve never had an issue. They also said that there could have been a tiny crack tucked away into the frame and that was the issue. Not wanting my glass sliding door to crack and other windows I ripped it all off. I am severely disappointed in this product.
